Message I've been through about 4 suspensions between the Z and Supra. (Z: 1)eibachs, stock shocks, 2)GC Coilover kit, stock shocks, Supra: 1)eibachs, KYB AGX shocks, 2) HKS Hyper Damper II's.) (6, if you count the stock suspensions!)

And I really like the HKS shocks. So much so, that I'm getting them on the Z as well. The current suspension with the GC has spring rates that are way too high to work with the stock shocks. I think Teins are a great product. I considered those seriously when looking for a coilover solution for the supra, but ended up with the HKS because of the larger shock body, and externally adjustable shock valving. They also provide greater adjustability than the Teins. (something like 32 way vs 16 way or something)

The Damper II's also provide a much better ride for the street than the Damper I's. Both these coilover kits are expensive - ~2K-2.5K for each.

I've heard the GC coilovers (the true coilovers, not the kit) are a bit harsh for street driving. Anyway, YMMV, if you want to wait a while before you decide, I should have the HKS dampers on my car by the Club Z Track Day Feb 22nd.

Cheers,
-Darryl

: I have a damn sagging intrax spring in the passenger rear for the longest time so I gotta change out the springs. Im going to go with a coilover system. I was thinking the HKS Coilovers since its adjustable and has upper pillow mounts i believe. Anybody running the HKS coilover system? Thanks.
